Truly one of the most special projects I've had the pleasure to photograph. The homeowners contacted me through a referral from Stack Rock Group, one of the premier landscape architects based here in the Boise area. Their team had their hands on some of the elements around the property. The homeowners (who wish to be left unnamed), built this house back in the early 90's and have added their style to every inch of the project. It is a delight to work with people who understand intention. There is either a feng shui or aesthetic intent that makes the experience of the home very unique and special.
The homeowners gave me creative freedom to capture their property, with the feeling that I could produce both a documentary and artistic visual experience that they can take with them when they someday leave the property. After a few visits and shoot days, I delivered a large set of images that we eventually turned into a oversized coffee table book. It was an honor to get the invite, and to experience their home. I'm truly grateful.
